Recognizing the overwhelming need to establish a CASA program in Vermilion County, National CASA has provided a grant to support start up funding, but we need to raise additional funds to support recruitment, training, and supervision of volunteers. CASA of Vermilion County is a tax-exempt 501(c)3 corporation. No fees are charged for the services provided by CASA of Vermilion County program, and no other agency provides community volunteers to serve as child advocates in juvenile court proceedings. The mission of CASA of Vermilion County is to advocate for abused and neglected children within the Juvenile Court System, by training and managing volunteers to represent those children's best interest to the Court.
