Elizabeth Mellen

Executive Director


Elizabeth was born and raised in Danville. She graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2010, and has a degree in International Relations. To that end she has spent significant time abroad working with children in Ecuador, Brazil and Peru. Elizabeth began her time with CASA as an Advocate Coordinator and transitioned to the roll of Executive Director in July of 2019.

James Zielinski

Advocate Coordinator


James Zielinski has lived in the Central Illinois area most of his life. He is a very family oriented individual and compassionate about his work in the social service field. James came to CASA of Vermilion and Edgar Counties in June 2019. He previously was a foster care case manager at The Center for Youth and Family Solutions for four years. James recently graduated with his master’s degree in human services from the University of Illinois.

Morgan Patton

Unassigned Case Manager


Morgan is a lifelong Vermilion County resident. She graduated with her bachelor’s degree in Family and Consumer Sciences from Eastern Illinois University in May 2018. Morgan joined the CASA team in June of 2019 eager to work with the youth in our community. Morgan is currently working on her master’s degree in Social Work at the University of Illinois.

Taylor Neville

Advocate Coordinator


Taylor is a lifelong resident of Danville and joined CASA August 2019. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Eastern Illinois University in family services. Before starting at CASA, she worked with the youth of Danville at the local Boys and Girls Club. Seeing how children’s lives can be changed first hand, Taylor has always known she wanted to work with the youth in our community.
